As part of the Central Corridor Funders Collaborative, a community effort called The Big Picture Project was launched this summer to align efforts along the Central Corridor light rail to provide a unified housing strategy. The Big Picture Project will take a look at existing plans, maps, and data banks for the 11 miles of the Central Corridor light rail in order to create a set of recommendations. These recommendations will provide insights on how to preserve affordable housing along the corridor, stabilize current housing stock, make the area a great place to live, work, and play, and ensure that new developments are positive for the community.
